Original Owner: | | Unknown |
Notable Past Residents: | | N/A |
Publication: | | Houston Chronicle, July 26, 1959 advertisement |
Comments: | | This home is a mirror image and a variation of the "mystery" home featured in a 1962 issue of Better Homes & Gardens. Like
many other homes in Memorial Bend, this home was nationally recognized for its design. The home was built and sold by Dick Hurley, a
former resident of Memorial Bend. |
Architectural Comments: | | Floyd again sought to place all the bedrooms in the rear of the home to stress privacy. A recently built louver
fence provides additional privacy. The interior utilized mahogany panels and mosaic tile bathrooms, something
found in other Floyd homes such as those featured in House & Home Magazine. |
