Architectural Comments:This home is almost completely unrecognizable from its original state. As seen in the advertisement, the front clerestory windows and the exposed beams of the post and beam construction have been removed. In their place are a porch with traditional windows and an entry. The original entry could be accessed from the side via a covered walk that ran along the side of the living room. The carport was enclosed and expanded to include a workshop area in the rear. The fireplace is also a later addition. By viewing the advertisement and the new home, one can recognize the original roofline.
