Big Three Industries was active in natural gas distribution. Karl Kamrath`s design for their headquarters came later in his career. It draws inspiration from Frank Lloyd Wright`s Unity Temple in Oak Park, Illinois. The building is constructed entirely of cast concrete. The interiors have been remodeled extensively.
